My version of holiday decor can be boring for a few, but it can be beautiful for the others... I am the kind of girl who loves a neutral style. I love natural, textures, black & white and simple shapes and forms. Even during the colorful season I want to be neutral. I guess my intention is to bring the magic of the season with peaceful and quiet elements.
If you are the type of girl or boy like me I think you would love my favorite decor items for the holiday season. If you are not the 'neutral and natural type' but have been thinking about simplifying and minimizing your decor choices... below are some ideas on how you can start.
First, put away all the 'red and green traditional' stuff and start thinking about the peaceful and magical snow days. All the crisp and white snow flakes, natural and organic shapes of the sleepy branches, graphic black & white of the winter, the soft textures of the snow falling. Look at the minimal and dreamy design of the winter landscape... and then bring all together inside. With one difference: everything inside must be warm and cozy.
