WHERE CAN WE MEET? 

​

We can meet in person if you live in the Connecticut, Rhode Island and South of Massachusetts (max.1 hour distance from my office without travel charges); but if you need our full design services and live further we still can work in your project, but travel charges would be billed. But we can also meet virtually, via Zoom or Face-Time, if you are out of this range. We have online/virtual design option for clients who don’t live where we’re based and it's more affordable than full design services.

HOW DOES A CONSULTATION WORKS? WHAT IS THE PROCESS?​

 

The consultation can be good for who is the 'do-it-yourself person' who is feeling stuck with their decisions. The consultation can help you gain the clarity you need to start or to finish the project that you have started or have been postponing.  During the consultation we’ll talk about your decorating dilemmas, your budget, your style, your time frame, whatever is your concern. But the consultation is also very helpful for clients who are interested in full design services, who would like to meet me in person, and learn more how we work and about our style, etc. It's a great way to step into the process of an interior design project, before commitment to a complex agreement.

HOW LONG WILL A FULL DESIGN PROJECT TAKE?

Good design takes time and is always worth the patience and investment. The complete design process can take anywhere from 4-8 months, while full-scale renovations can take a year or more. When you sign an agreement with us we are able to study and provide a more concise time-line agenda.

HOW DO YOU SET YOUR DESIGN FEES?

Each project is tailored to you and your home. After the consultation, we will prepare a project scope and proposal and deliver it within a week. In this proposal, we review the scope of the work and deliver an estimate of our design fees based on projected hours. We’re committed to transparency with our clients and will provide regular updates so you always know where you stand.

WHAT IF DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH MY PROJECT WILL COST?

At RG House _ Art & Design we’re glad to work with you to develop the right budget for your project. There are always ways to save and splurge; we will help you to navigate which areas we can do that for based on your design. A consultation for about 1 hour  can help us to discuss with your about the look that you want and the possible budget that we can work within.

WHERE DO I START?

The best place to start is with an in-home or virtual consultation. We’ll talk through the details of timeline, budget, and specific concerns. We use this information to craft a proposal unique to your project that details a plan for executing the design.

WHAT IF I WANT TO MAKE CHANGES TO MY DESIGN? 

We’re here to make your space beautiful for you! Throughout the design process, we use samples, drawings, and renderings, to show colors, textures, and styles, so you get an accurate idea of how the final design will look and feel. We discuss what you like and don’t like as we move forward. Revisions are built into the design process. We love client feedback and are always open to amending a design to create exactly what you envisioned. Design is a collaborative process, so we love hearing your thoughts, ideas, dreams, and concerns. A beautiful and functional design tailored to your needs is always our ultimate goal.
